The library has recently acquired three great travel DVDs. They include Rick Steves’ Germany and Scandanavia, Rick Steves’ Ireland and Scotland and Rick Steves’ Italy’s Countryside. Soon to come…..Rick Steves’ Italy’s cities.

If you have an interest in complementary and alternative medicine you may find this website useful. It is a collection of material put together by the University of Maryland Medical Center and contains information on treatment options including osteopathy, herbal medicine, massage, acupuncture, ayurveda, hypnotherapy and many more. It is nicely organized and easy to use. It also includes a discussion of medical conditions by organ and symptoms.
